EduInsights

Returns grouped totals, counts, or ordered results for supported measures. It supports first-major completions and college counts with explicit dimensions, filters, periods, order, and limits. It computes only approved additive measures and counts.

edu_aggregate

Returns a side-by-side comparison of two to 25 colleges, fields, or occupations. Inputs use matching UnitID, CIP-6, or SOC-6 identifiers. The server returns a consistent set of measures for the selected entity type.

edu_compare

Describes the available data and one optional relation. With no topic, it returns the snapshot version, semantic_views catalog, row counts, and identifiers. With a table topic, it returns columns, record detail, and query notes.

edu_describe_data

Returns a profile for one college identified by UnitID. Results include identity, current context, dated source fields, accreditation coverage, and leading reported fields of study.

edu_get_institution

Returns a reported field profile for one college, CIP-6 field, and optional award level. Results include college identity, first- and second-major completions, and available earnings and debt. Field outcomes may apply to a broader CIP-4 field. The response identifies that scope and any privacy suppression.

edu_get_program

Returns a profile for one occupation identified by SOC-6. Results include employment, pay, outlook, observed AI use, source scope, and leading tasks. Leading tasks are ordered by observed AI use, then O*NET importance.

edu_get_occupation

Returns source-release and relation details for supplied IDs or relation names. It distinguishes a source release from the serving snapshot version.

edu_get_sources

Matches a college, field, occupation, UnitID, CIP, or SOC query to UnitID, CIP-6, or SOC-6 identifiers. It searches names, aliases, locations, titles, and codes. Results include ordered candidates and context for disambiguation.

edu_resolve_entity

Runs one read-only DuckDB SELECT or WITH...SELECT statement against the serving snapshot. Returns rows, columns, types, truncation status, source details, and totals calculated before row limits. Latest-final relations support point-in-time questions. Longitudinal relations support change over time. Three comparable observations can support a trend. Numeric totals are valid only for additive measures and counts. Results are capped at 1000 rows (default 100, use the limit parameter). Queries have a 10-second timeout.
