Chat2Doc

Generate search keywords based on the user’s question and search within their saved documents. Use this tool when the user’s question can likely be answered using documents they have previously saved. The tool uses the generated keywords to retrieve relevant passages from the user’s document collection and uses them as context for answering the question.

When a user wants to create a document that they intend to save for future use, this tool should be invoked to analyze and generate the document according to the user's instructions; after the user confirms, the save function will then be called. Otherwise, the save function should not be invoked without the user's permission.

prepare_chat_for_saving

Save a user-confirmed edited document to the authenticated user's private Sider knowledge base. This app-only tool is called by the frontend through `window.openai.callTool` after `prepare_chat_for_saving`; when `file_id` is supplied, it overwrites that existing private document. The model must not call this tool directly.

save_edited_document

Search and retrieve the authenticated user's private saved chat documents without modifying them. This app-only tool is called by the document list widget.
